ooh that violin solo be hitting like something else
now im inspired to write a violin concerto
overall, it sounds good, but at certain times the brass instruments are a bit overbearing. try to turn it down a little to give room for other instruments. they may be accompaniments, but theyre important too!
also, the percussion also had got lost in the arrangement. try to turn it up a bit so that it can shine more through the instrumentation.
Yeah you are absolutely right, this was my first attempt at making "epic" music so I didn't really know much about the common modern cinematic mixing. If anything, it's Jeremy Soule's fault because I was into his music and it sounds really different from the nowadays epic music hehehe
idk how to start my feedback so have this sentence that has no meaning whatsoever
1) the mix is clipping, leave some headroom for the instruments
2) the supersaw wubs are kinda lost in the mix at the drop, maybe make it a bit louder
3) the song have very little variation throughout, spice things up so that people don't get bored. for starters, maybe change the melody a bit as the drop progresses, or different chord progressions throughout the song so that it keeps the listeners at their toes
Thank you for your feedback! I'll try to keep that in mind next time.
